Christchurch Cathedral
My latest efforts are firstly a nocturnal painting of the Christchurch Cathedral painted from a photo I took before it was so badly damaged in the recent earthquakes. "Wet Night" 24 by 30 inches acrylic. Our daughter Bethia is 17 year old first year music student at Canterbury University. She came home directly after experiencing the devastating February earthquake unable to help in any direct way. She started drawing to fill in time and take her mind of the the terrifying experience and destruction of the earthquake Below is her drawing.
.
More new works also just completed. This one is of an out door cafe setting done as a commission for a client. A Dunedin scene in acrylic 20 by 24 inches.
